I’ve been distressingly ill with flu for, oh, days now. It’s rough and every day I have intense “this is it I’m dying” moments but I can’t complain about the enforced leisure. I’ve been binging on old movies—Alfred Hitchcock mostly!—and highly recommend the same for the similarly housebound. “Rear Window” is still my favourite, but “Vertigo” might be the prettiest; it’s so gauzy and dreamy and gorgeously shot.
